Their hip-hop musical Othello: The Remix, produced by Jon Leguizamo, played Off-Broadway at the Westside Theater, Globe to Globe Festival, was commissioned by the Globe Theatre, London and played at the World Shakespeare Festival. Funk it Up About Nothin' was commissioned by Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Jeff Award, Best Ensemble) and ran at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Dress Circle Award, Best Musical). On camera, GQ and JQ starred in and co-wrote MTV's sketch comedy show Scratch and Burn and collaborated on Just Another Story for Showtime (GQ as actor/writer/director, JQ as composer). Theatrical commissions include a musical for Steppenwolf, Long Way Home (a musical version of The Odyssey) for Chicago Children's Choir, and Q Gents (a 2-man Two Gentlemen of Verona) for Oregon Shakespeare Festival. They’ve conducting hip-hop workshops for children of all ages at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits and have worked with inmates in Cook County Jail and in state prisons in Missouri. Albums include: Smashing for the Grommits, Foul Mouth Poet, Sober Truth Tiger and The Feel Good Album of the Year, a mix of jazz, heavy metal, R&B, and electronica.
