Alive in 2020

The purpose of the project is to give VOICE to dancers (who I believe are uniquely poised to express the human condition!). I will ask participants to engage in a recorded interview sharing their personal experience, thoughts and feelings on the events of the year so far… their challenges, hopes, fears etc. Then I will capture on camera each dancer improvising a solo that expresses their personal experience of how life feels for them now, as expressed through their body. Pieces of their recorded interviews will be set to music and then layered over the footage. The shoot will take place in my outdoor studio, on a black floor, shot from above. Pay is $100/dancer (includes interview time + shoot) matched with a $100 donation to a charitable organization of your choice.
